한국을 해외에 홍보하기 위해 제작한 음반으로 한국에 대한 소개와
한국에서 들을 수 있는 모든 소리, 즉 민요와 버스소리, 신문돌리는 아이 소리,
거리 마차소리, 어물전에서 물건을 팔고 흥정하는 소리, 노란샤쓰입은 사나이 노래
속의 막걸리점, 판문점회의, 베트남참전용사의 노래, 그리고 B면에는
'아리랑'을 들녁노래, 농악대, 산사의 음악, 장례식, 어린이노래, 대금연주,
무당, 어부가, 강강수월래, 과일따기 등 일상의 소리를 담고 있다.
